To Prevent Clogging

Keep device upright at all times when possible.

Even while charging, keep the device propped upright. If you're carrying the LUX in your pocket, keep the mouthpiece upward as well. This simple trick can really help!

Do not take a large amount of inhales in a short period of time.

Keep the amount of inhales under 5 each time you use your LUX. It will need time to cool down. If you overheat the device, the oil can leak into the mouthpiece and clog.

DO NOT lay your LUX down on a table or any surface directly after inhaling.

It's very easy to lay your LUX down directly after using it, while chilling or relaxing. This can allow the heated(thinner) oil to leak inside the deice and clog up the mouthpiece as well.

If You Didn't Follow the Steps Above, and You're Already Clogged:

DO NOT try to inhale hard and force the oil through!

This is one of the most common mistakes people make with disposables. DON'T TRY TO RIP IT HARD! Doing so will force oil through the injection holes and up into the mouthpiece. If you do happen to clog your device, see the next two steps for solutions:

1. Plug the LUX in for 5 minutes. Then take a bunch of small, light hits.

The oil should heat up enough with plugging it in and should clear up when you quickly take small consecutive hits. This will ONLY work if your device is not fully charged. If your device is fully charged, the light will flash three times after unplugging your LUX.

2. Try the hairdryer/heat gun method.

You can take a heat gun or any hair dryer and turn it on low heat. Carefully warm up the clear window of your LUX on both sides, rotating the device. Then take small, fast, consecutive hits and your LUX should work again!
